At University Pipette Service we understand the critical role precision plays in your laboratory or research facility. If you are outside our on-site service area and want to take advantage of our expertise and acknowledged professional service, we offer a mail-in service for your convenience. Our Baltimore based technicians will provide you top-tier calibration and service solutions for your pipettes. Before mailing in your pipettes, we invite you to contact us for a personalized quote, tailored to your specific needs and requirements. Your precision is our priority.
Before sending your pipettes for calibration and service, ensure they are clean and free from any residues. Remove any disposable tips. Place them securely in a suitable box or packaging to prevent damage during transit.
Prepare an inventory list that includes the following details for each pipette:
Send an advance email to our service center at customercare@universitypipette.com informing us of your intent to send in your pipettes for calibration and service. Include the tracking number provided by your chosen shipping carrier in this email.
Securely package your pipettes in as many boxes as required for safe shipping. Include your inventory list in one of the boxes. Send your pipettes to:

Upon receiving your pipettes, our technicians will perform the necessary calibration and service. The typical turnaround time is 2-3 days, depending on the quantity of pipettes to be serviced. If you have requested additional services such as Pipette Certification, our team will ensure these services are performed according to your specifications.
Upon shipping your serviced pipettes, we will send you a confirmation email to notify you that the service has been completed, along with any relevant documentation, such as calibration certificates. Your serviced pipettes will be returned to the address you provided. We will use the shipping method and carrier specified in your advance email.
We will send an invoice for the calibration and service, including any additional services requested. Payment can be made according to the terms and methods outlined in our invoice. We accepted most major credit cards, ACH and checks. Unless arranged for in advance, we do not offer credit terms.
